�b <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 7 1982 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />9:30 a.m., on Monday, June,7, 1982, by Joseph E. Kernan, in the <br />absence of the Board President John E. Leszczynski, with Mr. <br />Kernan and Mr. Richard L. Hill present. Also present was Assistant <br />City Attorney Carolyn Pfotenhauer. <br />MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING APPROVED <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Hill, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, <br />the minutes of the regular meeting of May 24, 1982, were approved <br />as submitted. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT SITE <br />IMPROVEMENTS (PHASE I) <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening sealed bids for <br />the construction of site improvements (Phase I) in the Central <br />Business District. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of <br />notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which <br />were found to be sufficient. Franklin St. <br />South Bend, Ind. <br />$12,076.74 <br />Bid was signed by Thomas 0. Walsh, <br />non -collusion affidavit was in order, <br />and a 5% bid bond was submitted. <br />Bid was signed by William Zirkle, <br />non -collusion affidavit was in order, <br />and a 5% bid bond was submitted. <br />Bid was signed by Richard D. Ruhlman, <br />non -collusion affidavit was in order, <br />and a 5% bid bond was submitted. <br />Bid was signed by Kenneth A. McIntyre, <br />non -collusion affidavit was in order, <br />and a 5% bid bond was submitted. <br />Bid was signed by Calvin Murdock, <br />non -collusion affidavit was in order, <br />and a 5% bid bond was submitted. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, <br />the above bids were referred to the Engineering Department for <br />review and recommendation. <br />OPENING AND AWARD OF BID - CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT <br />SITE IMPROVEMENTS (PHASE II) <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening sealed bids for the <br />construction of site improvements (Phase II) in the Central Business <br />District.
