302 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MAY 24, 1982 <br />Addendum No. 1 - Department of Public Works (General <br />Street Improvements - 1980 funds) <br />Budget increase of $114.00. <br />Addendum No. 1 - Bureau of Housing (Housing Rehabilitation <br />Grants Activity) <br />Budget increase. <br />Addendum No. 1 - Bureau of Housing (Housing Administrative <br />Activity) <br />Budget reduction because of personnel cut. <br />Addendum No. 1 - Neighborhood Code Enforcement (Legal Support) <br />Budget increase. <br />Addendum No. 1 - Department of Economic Development and <br />Redevelopment (Monroe -Sample Development) <br />Budget reduction. <br />Addendum No. 2 - Department of Economic Development and <br />Redevelopment (Administration Activity) <br />Budget reduction. <br />Addendum No. 2 - Neighborhood Code Enforcement (Clean -Up <br />Crews - 1981 funds) <br />Budget increase. <br />Addendum No. 3 - Neighborhood Code Enforcement (Clean -Up <br />Crews - 1980 funds) <br />Addendum No. 1 - Department of Public Parks (Walker Softball <br />Diamond Lighting) <br />Budget reduction and timetable revision. <br />Ms. Harriman explained that all increases in budget amounts have <br />been approved by the Common Council. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Kernan, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above addendums <br />were approved. <br />APPROVE INTENDED USE HEARING ON REVENUE SHARING FUNDS <br />Chief Deputy Controller Sherrie L. Petz requested Board approval <br />for an intended use hearing on the proposed expenditure of <br />$30,000.00 in revenue sharing funds for the Studebaker Museum. <br />Mr. Kernan explained that there was a question on the timing <br />as to when the city would receive funds from Lowe's Inc. for <br />the Studebaker Museum facility, and the administration desired <br />to have funds available to be used to cover some of those costs <br />in the event the funds were not immediately received from Lowe's, <br />Inc. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. <br />Kernan and carried, the request was approved and a date of June <br />7, 1982, set fox —public hearing on the intended use of the revenue <br />sharing funds. <br />APPROVE ADVERTISING FOR BIDS FOR CITY CAR WASHES <br />In a letter to the Board, Police Chief Thompson requested the <br />Board to advertise for the receipt of bids for car washes for <br />city vehicles. It was noted that the city's current contract <br />with Hi -Speed Car Wash expired on June 30, 1982. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the <br />request was approved and a bid date of June 14, 1982, established <br />for the receipt of bids. <br />1 <br />
