J, u <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 12, 1982 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />9:00 a.m., on Monday, April 12, 1982, by President John E. <br />Leszczynski, with Mr. Leszczynski, Mr. Richard L. Hill and Mr. <br />Joseph E. Kernan present. Also present was Assistant City <br />Attorney Carolyn Pfotenhauer. <br />MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING APPROVED <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Hill, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and <br />carried, the minutes of the April 5, 1982, regular meeting of <br />the Board were approved as submitted. <br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDERS - FIRST BANK CENTER PROJECT <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following change orders on the <br />First Bank Center Project were being submitted for Board approval, <br />all such change orders having been found to.be in order by the <br />architect, construction manager and Patrick McMahon: <br />1. Slutsky-Peltz Plumbing, & Heating <br />Change Order No. 3 <br />Increase of $8,205.00 to insulate heat traced sprinkler <br />lines, insulate Atrium drain downspouts, provide and <br />install fire extinguishers and hose reel cabinets and <br />fabricate and install 24 x 24 louver in elevator <br />machine room. <br />2. Koontz -Wagner Electric Company <br />Change Order No. 7 <br />Increase of $3,200.00 for Heat trace (3) Atrium roof <br />drains at "A" and "B" levels of Garage. Power <br />supply from main switchgear room. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and <br />carried, the above two change orders were approved. <br />AWARD BIDS - TANDEM AXLE TRUCK CHASSIS AND STREET MATERIALS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Sean Watt, Director of the Division <br />of Transportation, had_,reviewed the bids received on April 5, 1982, <br />for two tandem axle truck chassis and various street materials and <br />was recommending that the following bids be awarded: <br />Michiana Mack, Inc. <br />Two (2) 1983 DM611S Tandem Axle Truck Chassis <br />(E6-200 engine option not included) <br />HAC Surface #11 Limestone <br />HAC Surface #11 S.F. Slag <br />HAC Surface Jkll B.O.F. Slag <br />HAC Binder #8 or #9 <br />HAC Binder #11 <br />HAC Base #53B <br />Bit.
