235 REGULAR MEETING APPROVE ARMED FORCES DAY PARADE MARCH 15, 1982 Mr. Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, recommended approval of the request of the Department of the Navy, Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Center for an Armed Forces Day Parade to be held on May 15, 1982, starting at 9:00 a.m., at the rear of the Reserve Center at 1901 S. Kemble Avenue, utilizing a route in the vicinity of the Reserve Center. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the recommendation was approved. REQUEST TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY (125 EAST DAYTON�STREET) A request was received from Alfred Bolden, 129 East Dayton Street, inquiring into the possible purchase of a city -owned lot located at 125 East Dayton Street. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the request was referred to the various city agencies for a determination as to whether or not the property need be retained by the city for any reason. APPROVE RELEASE OF CONTRACTOR'S BOND - CHATEAU BUILDERS, INC, Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak recommended the Board release the Contractor's Bond of Chateau Builders, Inc, as requested. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above Bond was released. APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the following handicapped parking permits were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance: Catherine W. Allen, 413 S. Twyckenham, S.B. Stanley Kubisiak, 1930 Fox, S.B. Albert F. Tengelitsch, 1132 E. Bowman, S.B. Carl F. Krathwohl, 60724 Locust, S.B. Johnie Harris, 1126 Chalfant, S.B. George R. Robison, 1912 Thornhill, S.B. APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the following Secondhand Dealer License applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance: The Vintage Shop 2309 Lincolnway West L-0, Inc. 2821 Sample It was noted that favorable reports had been received from the Police Department, Fire Inspection Bureau, Building Department and Bureau of Traffic and Lighting on the above applications. The following applications for Rubbish and Garbage Removal Licenses all containing a favorable inspection report signed by Loren Dyas of the Solid Waste Bureau, were also submitted for Board approval: Eddie Ivory Stanley Wroblewski 1302 Linden 2626 Poland Johnson Foulks Hurie Lee Hetteson 1626 Florence 1054 Georgianna Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance.
