235 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APPROVE ARMED FORCES DAY PARADE <br />MARCH 15, 1982 <br />Mr. Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and <br />Lighting, recommended approval of the request of the Department <br />of the Navy, Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Center for an <br />Armed Forces Day Parade to be held on May 15, 1982, starting <br />at 9:00 a.m., at the rear of the Reserve Center at 1901 S. Kemble <br />Avenue, utilizing a route in the vicinity of the Reserve Center. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />REQUEST TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY (125 EAST DAYTON�STREET) <br />A request was received from Alfred Bolden, 129 East Dayton Street, <br />inquiring into the possible purchase of a city -owned lot located <br />at 125 East Dayton Street. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the request was referred to <br />the various city agencies for a determination as to whether or <br />not the property need be retained by the city for any reason. <br />APPROVE RELEASE OF CONTRACTOR'S BOND - CHATEAU BUILDERS, INC, <br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak recommended the Board release the Contractor's <br />Bond of Chateau Builders, Inc, as requested. Upon a motion made <br />by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above <br />Bond was released. <br />APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan <br />and carried, the following handicapped parking permits were <br />approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for <br />issuance: <br />Catherine W. Allen, 413 S. Twyckenham, S.B. <br />Stanley Kubisiak, 1930 Fox, S.B. <br />Albert F. Tengelitsch, 1132 E. Bowman, S.B. <br />Carl F. Krathwohl, 60724 Locust, S.B. <br />Johnie Harris, 1126 Chalfant, S.B. <br />George R. Robison, 1912 Thornhill, S.B. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan <br />and carried, the following Secondhand Dealer License applications <br />were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office <br />for issuance: <br />The Vintage Shop <br />2309 Lincolnway West <br />L-0, Inc. <br />2821 Sample <br />It was noted that favorable reports had been received from the <br />Police Department, Fire Inspection Bureau, Building Department <br />and Bureau of Traffic and Lighting on the above applications. <br />The following applications for Rubbish and Garbage Removal <br />Licenses all containing a favorable inspection report signed by <br />Loren Dyas of the Solid Waste Bureau, were also submitted for <br />Board approval: <br />Eddie Ivory Stanley Wroblewski <br />1302 Linden 2626 Poland <br />Johnson Foulks Hurie Lee Hetteson <br />1626 Florence 1054 Georgianna <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above applications were approved and referred to <br />the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance. <br />
