229 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 8, 1982 <br />APPROVE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS <br />A request was received from the Neighborhood Code Enforcement <br />Office for permission to have city environmental crews clean <br />the following lots within the city: <br />517 Blaine 708 W. LaSalle <br />607 Blaine 1127 N. Johnson <br />123-125 East Broadway 1715 Dunham <br />1134 McCartney Clemens No. of Linden Ave. <br />614 S. St. Joseph <br />It was noted that property owners had been advised to clean up <br />the above lots and had failed to comply. Upon a motion made by <br />Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the request <br />was approved. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the Secondhand Dealer's License application for Britton <br />Knowles, 802 East LaSalle, was approved and referred to the <br />Deputy Controller's Office for issuance. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the following license applications for Rubbish and <br />Garbage Removal were approved and referred to the Deputy <br />Controller's Office for issuance: <br />Nathanial Greer, 1602 Sibley,, <br />Sylvester Mullins,' 115 S. Cherry <br />Metro Waste - 54115 Butternut Rd. (7 vehicles) <br />It was noted that favorable reports had been received from the <br />Police Department, Fire Inspection Bureau, Building Department <br />and Bureau of Traffic and Lighting on the Secondhand Dealer's <br />License application of Britton Knowles, and the vehicles used <br />for hauling rubbish and garbage for the above applicants of <br />Rubbish and Garbage Removal Licenses had been inspected by <br />Loren Dvas of the Solid Waste Bureau and were found to be <br />in order. <br />APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the following handicapped parking permits were <br />approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for <br />issuance: <br />Natalie Szymczak, 5010 Bloomfield, S.B. <br />Margaret B. Humphrey, 609 Napoleon, S.B. <br />Lowell D. Green, Sr., 228 W. Lawrence, Mish. <br />Lynn 11. Dee, 804 Prairie, S.B. <br />George J. Zach, 1122 N. Frances, S.B. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the Certificate of Insurance for Lykowski Construction <br />Company, Inc., 21707 West Ireland Road, was filed. <br />FILING OF STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The report indicated a total of three outages for the period <br />of February 28 through March 3, 1982. Upon a motion made by <br />Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the report <br />was filed. <br />APPROVE RELEASE OF CONTRACTOR'S BOND TAYLOR CON'STI,UCTION CO. <br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak recommended the Board release the Contractorts. <br />Bond of Taylor Construction Company. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the bond was.released. <br />
