JOSEPH COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY <br />The report indicated a total number of dogs handled for November <br />of 255; 160 cats handled; and 33 other animals handled, for a <br />monthly total of 448 animals handled. Upon a motion made by <br />Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the report <br />was filed. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan <br />and carried, the certificate of insurance for McCormick & <br />Company was filed. <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Mr. Elroy J. Kelzenberg, Director of the Michiana Area CETA <br />Consortium, submitted P. 0. No. 174 through No. 262 and recommended <br />approval. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. <br />Kernan and carried, the claims were approved. <br />Chief Deputy Controller Sherrie L. Petz submitted Claim Docket No. <br />21779 through No. 22875 and recommended approval. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, <br />the report was filed and the claims approved. <br />STREETLIGHT OUTAGES <br />In a letter to the Boad, Mr. Lloyd S. Taylor, Senior Vice President <br />of the St. Joseph Bank & Trust Company, advised the Board that over <br />50% of the street lighting on Jefferson Street between Main and <br />St. Joseph was inoperative. He asked the Board's cooperation in <br />having the lights repaired. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, Mr. Taylor's letter was referred <br />to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and Indiana & Michigan <br />Electric Company for appropriate action. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, <br />the meeting was adjourned at 10:30 a.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />Barbara J.
