Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Hill, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the <br />counter-offer was approved. <br />REQUEST TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY (1115 S. LAFAYETTE) <br />A request was received from Mrs. Ruth Lewis, 1113 South <br />Lafayette, inquiring into the possible purchase of a city - <br />owned lot located at 1115 South Lafayette. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, <br />the request was referred to the various city agencies for a <br />determination as to whether or not the city need retain the <br />lot for any reason. <br />APPROVE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS <br />A request was received from the Neighborhood Code Enforcement <br />Office for permission to have city environmental crews clean <br />the following lots within the city: <br />617-619 W. Wayne <br />It was noted that property owners had been advised to clean up <br />the above lots and had failed to comply. Upon a motion made <br />by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the <br />request was approved. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR'S BOND - WILLIAM A. MINOR <br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak recommended approval of the Contractor's <br />Bond of William A. Minor, retroactive to November 9, 1981. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan <br />and carried, the bond was approved as recommended. <br />FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY REPORT FOR OCTOBER <br />The report indicated a total of 238 dogs handled for the month <br />of October, 179 cats and 30 miscellaneous animals handled, for <br />a yearly total of-4,581 animals. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the report <br />was filed. <br />APPROVAL OF HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the following handicapped parking permits were approved <br />and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance: <br />Catherine Nanney David E.
