OPENING OF BIDS - SALE OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY (NORTHWEST CORNER OF ANGELA AND RIVERSIDE) This was the date set for receiving and opening sealed bids for the sale of city -owned property located at the northwest corner of Angela and Riverside and more commonly known as a portion of Brownfield Park. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bid was opened and publicly read: Lock Joint Tube Company $11,430.00 1400 Riverside Drive South Bend, Indiana 46624 The above bid, signed by Kenneth C. Woodka, President of Lock Joint Tube Company, pointed out the following unresolved issues: 1. The appraisal was not available for review by Lock Joint_ Tube until September 23, 1981. 2. The appraisal was done by R. E. McClosky from Niles, Michigan.
