1'7 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 20, 1981 <br />Willie E. Hensley Effective: July 20, 1981 <br />Richard H. Allriedge Effective: Retroactive to July 16, 1981 <br />Allied Construction Co. Effective: Retroactive to July 13, 1981 <br />APPROVAL OF HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the following handicapped parking permits were approved <br />and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance: <br />Mrs. Beatrice M. Arndt, 3008 Trenton Ct. Apt. A, Mish. <br />Raymond H. McAuley, 418 E. Angela, S.B. <br />FILING OF STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The report indicated a total of five outages for the period of <br />July 10 through 14, 1981. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the report was filed. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the Certificate of Insurance for Cole Associates was filed. <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Chief Deputy Controller Sherrie L. Petz submitted Claim Docket No. <br />12516 through No. 12944 and recommended approval. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the <br />report,was filed and the claims approved. <br />COMPLAINT RE: RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />Councilman Walter Szymkowiak complained about the condition of <br />Conrail Railroad right-of-way from Washington to Lincolnway West. <br />He stated that the weeds and brush growing alongside the tracks <br />was high and very unsightly, and he asked that the city order the <br />railroad to clean its properties along the tracks. Mr. Leszczynski <br />stated that the Engineering Department would look into the complaint <br />and request the railroad's cooperation in clearing the area. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, <br />the meeting was adjourned at 10:30 a.m. <br />ASO <br />ZCZYJS <br />Richard Hill <br />J ph E.
