353. <br />1 <br />1 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AUGUST 29, 1983 <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS <br />A list containing one hundred nineteen (119) lots ordered <br />cleaned by the Director of the Department of Code Enforce- <br />ment, was submitted. It was noted that the property owners <br />had been advised to clean-up the lots and had failed to do <br />so. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. <br />Hill and carried, the above report was filed. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR'S BOND <br />Mr. Ray`S. Andrysiak, P.E.,. Engineering Department, recommended <br />the Contractor's Bond for General Contractors, Inc. be approved, <br />effective August 29, 1983. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above Contractor's Bond <br />was approved. <br />APPROVE RELEASE OF CONTRACTOR'S BOND <br />Mr. Ray S.'Andrysiak, P.E., Engineering Department, recommended <br />the Contractor's Bond.of Alfred Bolden be released effective <br />August 29, 1983. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr.. Hill and carried, the above Contractor's Bond <br />was released. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the following two (2) traffic control devices <br />were approved: <br />INSTALL NO PARKING THIS SIDE - East side at Rosemary <br />Lane from Edison North to Charles St. (No homes on <br />East side. Narrow street, former county road. <br />Village Terre Apartments exit onto Rosemary). <br />Requested by: Resident. <br />INSTALL NO PARKING - Both sides of Riverside Drive <br />from Angela to a point approximately 200' North <br />of Railroad (N.P.L. Lock Joint Tube). (1. Unimproved <br />No shoulder; 2. Advance at RR Crossing; 3. Advance/ <br />Exit To/From signalized intersection; 4. Truck dock <br />maneuvering area; 5. Commercial/Industrial Drives; <br />6. Horizontal and Vertical curve). <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Mr. Elroy J. Kelzenberg, Director of the Michiana Area CETA <br />Consortium, submitted a report indicating seventy-seven (77) <br />purchase orders and recommended approval of payment. Chief <br />Deputy Controller Sherrie L. Petz, submitted Claim Docket No. <br />17175 through Claim Docket No. 17560 and recommends approval. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the above reports were filed and the claims approved. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and <br />carried, the meeting was adjourned at 9:50 a.m. <br />
