Manager -Highway Bidding, Non - <br />Abington Executive ,Park Collusion Affidavit was in order <br />Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania 18411 and a Certified Check in the amount <br />`of $30,000.00 was submitted. <br />Rock Salt 12,000 tons - Bulk ice <br />control salt .$21.40 per ton <br />Bulk rock salt will be treated with $256,800.00 total <br />an anti -caking agent. Pfotenhauer, advised that the bid received <br />from The Levy Company, Inc., P.O. Box 540, Portage, Indiana 46368, <br />did not contain a complete notarization of the Non -Collusion <br />Affidavit and she therefore recommends it be rejected because of <br />this fatal defect. Upon a motion made by Mr. Hill, seconded by <br />Mr. Kernan and carried, the bid of The,Levy Company, Inc. was <br />rejected due to the above referred to fatal defect and was not read. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above bids were referred to the Division.of Trans- <br />portation for review and recommendation. <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONTRACTS <br />The following Community Development contracts were presented to <br />the Board for approval: <br />YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU <br />RENT -A -TEEN PROGRAM <br />The targeted goal for the Rent -A -Teen Program is to hire and <br />provide personnel expenses for a.program coordinator who will <br />match minor job requests from homes and businesses with low <br />and moderate income youths between the ages of 12-18, capable <br />of performing these minor jobs.
