• <br />REGULAR MEETING JUNE 27, 1983 <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR'S BOND <br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak, P.E., recommends the Board approve the <br />Contractor's Bond for Keith Slabaugh, President, Astro <br />Construction Company retroactive to June 22, 1983. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above bond was approved. <br />APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr..Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the following seven (7) handicapped parking <br />permits were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's <br />Office for issuance: <br />E.W. Joy, 1865 Campeau, S.B. <br />Barbara G. Douglass, 214 Sylvan Glen, S.B. <br />Marjory Streich, 501 E. Eckman, S.B. <br />Elva Phillips, 14151 Eureka, Mish. <br />Raymond H. Shoup, 1126 Blyler, S.B. <br />Robert Oler, 1313 Byron, S.B. <br />Beaulah P. Dollahan, R.R. 4, Box 434, Walkerton <br />FILING OF STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The report submitted to the Board indicated a total of thirteen <br />(13) outages for the period May 27, 1983 to June 17, 1983. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the report was filed. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the following three (3) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />INSTALL NO PARKING THIS SIDE - South side of 2200 to 2900 Corby. <br />(To allow for two unobstructed lanes of travel and parking in <br />front of residences on the north side or Corby. Parking <br />removal along Golf Course (south side) allows an offset <br />center line to accomplish this). <br />REVISE TO 1 HR. PARKING 6AM-6PM - 3007-3011 Mishawaka Ave. <br />(Requested by businesses affected). <br />INSTALL 1 HR. PARKING 10AM-7PM, EXCEPT SUNDAY - 1148 <br />1150 W. Western. To provide curb space turnover. <br />(Requested by 1150 Western Ave.) <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS <br />A list containing a total of two hundred and three (203) lots <br />ordered cleaned by the Director of the Department of Code <br />Enforcement was submitted. It was noted that property owners <br />had been advised to clean-up the lots and had failed to do so. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the report was filed. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the Certificate of Insurance for Sollitt <br />Construction Company, Inc., P.O. Box 87, South Bend, Indiana, <br />was filed. <br />
