273 <br />REGULAR MEETING JUNE 20, 1983 <br />JULY 19 Studebaker Museum Grand Opening Committee <br />request to release approximately fifty <br />(50) balloons during noon hour activities. <br />The Police Department Traffic Division <br />will handle temporary traffic control. <br />JULY 22 Air Force request for permission to display <br />a plane at Century Center from July 22 to <br />'July 27, 1983. - <br />JULY 28 AAU Preview of Opening Ceremony to be held <br />during the noon hour on River Bend Plaza. <br />.Additionally, a mini -parade of participants <br />will be held on the plaza. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above events, based on the recommendations of. <br />Mr. Wadzinski, were approved. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the following two (2) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />INSTALL STOP SIGN - On Hartman at Rosemary. (Uncontrolled <br />"T" Intersection). Requested by: Bureau of Traffic <br />& Lighting. <br />INSTALL STOP SIGN - On Rogers at Johnson (Uncontrolled <br />"T" Intersection). Requested by: Bureau of Traffic <br />& Lighting. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR'S BOND <br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak, P.E., recommends the Board approve the <br />Contractor's Bond for Joseph Palmer, d/b/a Palmer's Masonry, <br />effective June 20, 1983. Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above bond was approved. <br />APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the following ten (10) handicapped parking permits <br />were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office <br />for issuance: <br />George Bateman, 301 E. Windhorst, 53166 Twyckenham, S.B. <br />Bradley Payne (Linda, mother),.50756 Kenilworth, S.B. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS <br />A list containing a total of <br />ninety-four (94) lots <br />ordered <br />cleaned by the Director of the Department of Code <br />Enforcement <br />was submitted. It was noted <br />that property owners <br />had been <br />advised to clean-up the lots <br />and had failed to do <br />so. Upon <br />a motion made by Mr. Kernan, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, <br />the report was filed. <br />
