<br />recommending approval of the following route:
<br />Thomas Street at St. Stephens to Chapin, Washington,
<br />Scott, Wayne, Thomas to St. Stephens.
<br />In concurrence with the Traffic Division, the Bureau of Traffic
<br />and Lighting recommends approval of this event which is to
<br />begin at 9:00 a.m., on the above route. Upon a motion made
<br />by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the
<br />above route as submitted by the Bureau of Traffic and Light-
<br />ing was approved.
<br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill
<br />and carried, the following six (6) traffic control devices
<br />were approved:
<br />REVISE TO STOP SIGN - On the N.W. and S.E. corners
<br />of Caroline and Ridgedale.
<br />REVISE TO STOP SIGN - On Marine at Bowman.
<br />REVISE TO STOP SIGN - On Sampson at Altgeld.
<br />REVISE TO STOP SIGN - On Springbrook at Caroline.
<br />INSTALL STOP SIGN - On Edwards at Walnut.
<br />INSTALL STOP SIGN - On Hawbaker. at High.
<br />APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan
<br />and carried, the following ten (10) handicapped parking permits
<br />were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office
<br />for issuance:
<br />William D. Abott, 703 E. Angela, S.B.
<br />Barbara O'Shea, 2615 Hampton, Mish.
<br />Tena Lymon, 3316 Grape, Mish.
<br />Arther Erickson, 4966 Scenic, S.B.
<br />John A. Walsh, 301 Pokagon, S.B.
<br />Rudolph V. Pyclik, Jr., 26399 Grant, S.B.
<br />Elizabeth Love, 246 E. Elder, S.B.
<br />C.H. Poehlman, 1209 Hillcrest, S.B.
<br />Harry Micinski, 57088 Peggy, S.B.
<br />Robert Skodinski, 4116 Pleasant, Mish.
<br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS
<br />Two lists containing a total of sixty-five (65) lots ordered
<br />cleaned by the Director of the Department of Code Enforcement
<br />was submitted. It was noted that property owners had been
<br />advised to clean-up the lots and had failed to do so. Upon
<br />a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and
<br />carried, the above reports were filed.
<br />APPROVE RELEASE OF CONTRACTOR'S BONDS
<br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak, P.E., recommended the Board release the
<br />Contractor's Bond for Murdock & Sons Construction, effective
<br />June 6, 1983 and Laidig Moser Construction Company,.:effective
<br />July 26, 1983. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded
<br />by Mr. Hill and carried, the above bonds were released as
<br />recommended.
<br />APPROVE EXCAVATION BOND
<br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak, P.E., recommended the Board approve the
<br />Excavation Bond for Thomas Brittain d/b/a Brittain Plumbing
<br />be approved retroactive to June 1, 1983. Upon a motion made
<br />by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the
<br />above bond was approved as recommended.
