REGULAR MEETING MAY 2, 1983 <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski,_ seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the following three (3) traffic control devices as <br />recommended by Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of <br />Traffic and Lighting were approved: <br />REVISE TO STOP SIGN - On. Brummitt Lane at Edison. <br />INSTALL NO PARKING THIS SIDE - 500 S. Sunnyside from <br />E. Monroe to SPL of 550 S. Sunnyside. <br />REVISE TO STOP SIGN - On Beutter Lane at Edison. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS <br />A list containing thirty-four (34) lots ordered cleaned by the <br />Director of the Department of Code Enforcement was submitted. <br />It was noted that property owners had been advised to clean-up <br />the lots and had failed to do so. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the environ- <br />mental list was filed. <br />APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr,. Kernan <br />and carried, the following eleven (11) handicapped parking <br />permits were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's <br />Office for issuance: <br />Dorothy Whitaker, 907 Harrison, Walkerton <br />Albert A. Tompos, 2509 W. Bertrand, S.B. <br />Cleland D. Stoddard, 945 S. 35th, S.B. <br />Harvey S. Fernsler, 815 W. Douglas, Lot 179, S.B. <br />George R. Robison, 1912 Thornhill, S.S. <br />Clara D. Niedbalski, 1313 N. Meade, S.B. <br />Inga S. Damp, 3508 S. St. Joseph, S.B. <br />Edith Allen, 1925 Malvern, S.B. <br />Louise Carlson, 514 S. Kenmore, S.B. <br />Durwood Meyers, 1013 E. Irvington, S.B. <br />Adah L. Pfau, 19575 Brick, S.B. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Elroy J. Kelzenberg, Director of the Michiana Area CETA <br />Consortium, submitted a report indicating purchase orders <br />totalling forty (40) and recommended approval of payment. <br />Chief Deputy Controller Sherrie L. Petz submitted Claim Docket <br />No. 8379 through Docket No. 8884 and recommended approval_. Upon <br />a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Air. Kernan and <br />carried, the reports were filed and the claims approved. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Therebeing no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, <br />the meeting was adjourned at 10:05 a.m. <br />1 <br />
