REQUEST TO HOLD AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY DAFFODIL DAYS REFERRED - 14ARCH 25 & 26, 1983 In a letter to the Board, Ms. Deborah Cataldo, Chairperson. of Daffodil Days on behalf of the American Cancer Society requested approval to conduct its annual Daffodil Days on Friday, March 25, 1983 and Saturday, March 26, 1983. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the above request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Traffic Division for. review and recommendation.' REQUEST TO HOLD PEPSI REGIONAL 10,000 RUN RACE REFERRED - MAY 21, 1983 In a letter to the.Board, Mr. Dean A. Reinke, President of the Athletic Annex, on behalf of the Athletic Annex, the WNDU stations and the Pepsi Cola.Company requested.approval to conduct a 10,000 meter run race on Saturday, May 21, 1983 at 9:00 a.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the.above request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police.Traffic Division for review and recommendation. APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - RUBBISH AND GARBAGE An application for a Rubbish and Garbage Removal License was received from Mr. Nathaniel Green, 1602 Sibley Street, South Bend. It was noted that an inspection of the truck to be used had been conducted by the Solid Waste Bureau and it was found to be in compliance. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the above license application was approved.and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance. FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the Certificate of Insurance for Goshen Tree Expert Service, Inc., 17406 U.S. #20, Goshen Indiana, was filed. APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried,, the following traffic control device as recommended by the Bureau of Traffic and -Lighting was approved: REVISE TO - 1 HOUR PARKING -.North side of Oakside approximately 100 feet east of Michigan. FILING OF LIST OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS A list containing thirty-one (31) lots ordered cleaned by the Director of the Department of Code Enforcement was submitted. It was noted that property owners had been advised to clean up the lots and had failed to do so. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the environmental list was filed.
