REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 28,'1982 N 1 The regular meeting of the Board of at 9:30 a.m., December 28, 1982, by Leszczynski, with Mr. Leszczynski, Mr. Joseph E. Kernan present. Also City Attorney Eugenia Schwartz.. Public Works was convened President John E. Mr. Richard L. Hill and present was Assistant MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING APPROVED Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the minutes of the December 20, 1982, regular meeting of the Board were approved as submitted. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 31, 9982 RESOLUTION NO. 31, 1982 WHEREAS, license renewal applications for scrap and junk dealers for the year 1983 have been received by the Board of Public Works; and WHEREAS, inspections of the properties have been completed by the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office and the Fire Prevention Bureau as required by Chapter 4, Article 4, Section 4-51 of the Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office and the Fire Prevention Bureau have found that such premises are fit and proper for the maintenance and operation of such a business; and WHEREAS, Chapter 4, Article 4, Section 4-51 of the Municipal Code requires approval of a Resolution of the Board of Public Works recommending the renewal of the license applications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the license renewal applications for the follow- ing scrap and junk dealers be recommended favorably based upon the satisfactory review of the properties by the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office and the Fire Prevention Bureau: Herbert Alpern-Max Schneider Co.
