F0 REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 22,'1982 APPROVE SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS TO CONSULTING AGREEMENTS (ETHANOL PLANT) - COLE ASSOCIATE'S Mr. Leszczynski advised that supplemental agreements were being submitted to the Board concerning the Consulting Agreement approved by the Board on November 8, 1982 with Cole Associates for the design of public improvements, and access roads and utilities at the Ethanol Plant. He explained that the supplemental agreements to the previously approved agreements would provide part-time inspection to supplement the city's inspection forces on an on -call basis only. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the supplemental agreements were approved. APPROVE LEASE WITH REDEVELOPMENT - SURFACE PARKING, DISPOSITION PARCELS 8-9 AND 8-11 Mr. Leszczynski stated that the annual lease with the Redevelop- ment Department for lease by the city of two parcels of land owned by Redevelopment immediately north of the License Branch on Michigan Street for surface parking was in effect on a month -to -month basis. The Redevelopment Department had submitted for Board execution a lease to commence on December 1, 1982. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the Lease was approved. Mr. Kernan advised that the city would be discussing a proposed lease with the License Bureau for that property to be used for surface parking. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 27, 1982 - DISPOSE OF FIRE DEPART14ENT VEHICLE AND EQUIPMENT RESOLUTION NO. 27, 1982 WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of Public Works that the following vehicle and equipment are obsolete and deteriorated to the point where repair costs would exceed their value; Fire Department - 19'64 American LaFrance fire truck Serial No. 120400 Reserve Eng. #82 2 MRL-SL450 Heart Monitors Serial #943 and #948 WHEREAS, Chapter 186, Acts of 1967, of the Indiana General Assembly, permits the sale of personal property no longer needed or obsolete. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend that the above listed vehicle and equipment are obsolete and not needed by the City of South Bend. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Bureau of Vehicle Maintenance be authorized to scrap said vehicle and the Fire Department be authorized to scrap the 2 heart monitors and that they be removed from the City Inv.entorv, Dated: November 22, 1982 BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS s/ John E.
