It was noted that, according to the records <br />in the Assessor's Office, Mr. Chambliss was not an adjacent <br />property owner although he owned two lots in the immediate <br />vacinity of the city -owned lot, his lots be'ng separated from <br />the city -owned lot by a lot owned by Mr. Fi n. The Clerk was <br />instructed to follow-up on the matter. <br />Triangular lot bounded Josepi R. Doyle c/o <br />by Chapin, Oak and Richa d Doyle, Attorney <br />Scott Streets 913 W st Colfax Avenue <br />City's Offering Price: $190.00 BID P ICE: $190.00 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Hill, seconded by Mr. Kernan and <br />carried, the bid of Mr. Joseph Doyle in the amount of $190.00 <br />was accepted for the city -owned property at Chapin, Oak and <br />Scott Streets and the matter referred to the Legal Department <br />for drafting of the appropriate purchase agreement. <br />OPENING OF BIDS AND BID AWARDS SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening sealed bids for <br />the sale of approximately 9 abandoned vehicles, 4 of which are <br />valued at over $100.00 and all of which have been stored at the <br />Hurwich Impoundment Lot, 1610 Circle Avenue. The Clerk tendered <br />proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the <br />Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. Upon a motion made <br />by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the above <br />bids were referred to the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office <br />for immediate review and recommendation in order that an award <br />could be made prior to adjournment of the meeting.
