Chambliss City's Offering Price: $215.00 1243 Van Buren South Bend, Indiana 46628 BID PRICE: ILLEGIBLE Mr. Leszczynski stated that the bid amount 'submitted by Mr. Chambliss was illegible and it could not be determined what his bid price was. It was noted that, according to the records in the Assessor's Office, Mr. Chambliss was not an adjacent property owner although he owned two lots in the immediate vacinity of the city -owned lot, his lots be'ng separated from the city -owned lot by a lot owned by Mr. Fi n. The Clerk was instructed to follow-up on the matter. Triangular lot bounded Josepi R. Doyle c/o by Chapin, Oak and Richa d Doyle, Attorney Scott Streets 913 W st Colfax Avenue City's Offering Price: $190.00 BID P ICE: $190.00 Upon a motion made by Mr. Hill, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the bid of Mr. Joseph Doyle in the amount of $190.00 was accepted for the city -owned property at Chapin, Oak and Scott Streets and the matter referred to the Legal Department for drafting of the appropriate purchase agreement. OPENING OF BIDS AND BID AWARDS SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES This was the date set for receiving and opening sealed bids for the sale of approximately 9 abandoned vehicles, 4 of which are valued at over $100.00 and all of which have been stored at the Hurwich Impoundment Lot, 1610 Circle Avenue. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the above bids were referred to the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office for immediate review and recommendation in order that an award could be made prior to adjournment of the meeting.
