REGULAR MEETING MAY 21, 1984 1 APPROVE TITLE SHEET ON -SITE PAVING ETHANOL PLANT PROJECT Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Title Sheet for the above referred to project was being presented at this time for execution.Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above referred to Title Sheet was approved and signed. APPROVE CONTRACTOR'S BONDS Mr. Joseph Pluta, P.E., and Mr. Melvin B. Humphrey, Engineering Department, recommended that the Contractor's Bond for Evelyn M. Jordan,.d/b/a Jordan Construction be approved retroactive to May 16, 1984 and the Contractor's Bond for Papczynski Construction, Inc. be approved effective May 21, 1984. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above recommendations were accepted and the Contractor's Bonds approved. APPROVE RELEASE OF CONTRACTOR'S BOND Mr. Joseph J. Pluta, P.E., Engineering Department, recommended that the Contractor's Bond for Papczynski Concrete Broker be released effective May 21, 1984. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above recommendation was accepted and the Contractor's Bond released. APPROVE EXCAVATION BOND Mr. Melvin Humphrey, Engineering Department, recommended that the Excavation Bond for MFP, Inc. be approved effective May 21, 1984. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above recommendation was accepted and the Excavation Bond approved.. APPROVE REQUEST OF HILLTOP GOSPEL CHURCH TO CLOSE STREET FOR HILLTOP SERVICES - JUNE 17. 1984 Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager, Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, has reviewed the request of Hilltop Gospel Church to close Washington Street submitted to the Board on May 14, 1984 and recommends approval subject to the street (including the alleys) being closed for the appointed time only, being 5:00 to 8:00 a.m. It was noted that the Petitioner will be responsible for the closing and reopening of the street with barricades to be delivered to the location on June 15, 1984. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the above recommendation was accepted and the request approved. APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMIT Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, one (1) handicapped parking permit application for Sylvia Alexander, 20679 Madison Road, South Bend, Indiana, was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of a permit. APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS - SECONDHAND DEALERS Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following two (2) secondhand dealers license applications have been received: NAME: Rids Room BY: James A. and Rebecca A.
