APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ADDENDA The following two (2) Community Development addenda were presented to the Board for approval: ADDENDUM I LA CASA DE AMISTAD LA CASA DE AMISTAD TRANSLATION PROGRAM Addendum I allows for a revised Timetable which indicates that this activity shall commence on January 21, 1984 and shall continue to and include December 31, 1984. ADDENDUM II DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS MONROE PARK INDUSTRIAL PARK IMPROVEMENTS Addendum II indicates a revision in the Purpose and Intent and Targeted Goals categories. The targeted goal for this activity is to provide funds for packaging & marketing of the land; attracting new industry & encouraging the expansion of existing industry, This goal will be accomplished with the aid of site improvements, acquisitions and building rehabilitation. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the above addenda were approved and executed. APPROVE ARCHITECTURAL CONSULTING AGREEMENT - KORBULY/GRAF, INC. (POLICE SUBSTATION, 420 NORTH FRANCES STREET) Mr. Leszczynski presented to the Board a Standard Form of Agree- ment Between Owner, Board of Public..Works and Architect, Korbuly/ Graf, Inc., Architects and Engineers, 340 South Columbia Street., South Bend, Indiana, for the project known as Police Substation, 420 North Frances Street, South Bend, Indiana, a two story structure with approximately 1600 square feet on each floor. The Agreement indicates that compensation for services is 8.6% of actual total construction cost as determined by the low responsible bidder awarded the contract for construction of site improvements and building construction. Further, if no construction takes place, the basic compensation will be calculated on the Architects's estimated cost schedule. Mr. Leszczynski advised that the approximate cost of the construction of the substation is $90,000.00. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above Agree- ment was approved and executed. 1
