Bid was signed by Robert M. <br />4849 West Western Avenue Drabecki, Sales Manager, Non - <br />South Bend, Indiana 46619 Collution Affidavit was in <br />order and a Bid Bond in the <br />TOTAL BID SUBMITTED: amount of $2,000.00 was submitted. <br />1 1985 International S Series Travel Crew Cab - <br />Model 1654 (Unit #423 as Trade $18,780.00 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried,. .the above bids were referred to.Mr. Sean Watt, Street <br />Department, for review and recommendation. <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ADDENDA <br />The following two (2) Community Development addenda were presented <br />to the Board for approval: <br />ADDENDUM I <br />LA CASA DE AMISTAD <br />LA CASA DE AMISTAD TRANSLATION PROGRAM <br />Addendum I allows for a revised Timetable which indicates <br />that this activity shall commence on January 21, 1984 and <br />shall continue to and include December 31, 1984. <br />ADDENDUM II <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />MONROE PARK INDUSTRIAL PARK IMPROVEMENTS <br />Addendum II indicates a revision in the Purpose and <br />Intent and Targeted Goals categories. The targeted <br />goal for this activity is to provide funds for <br />packaging & marketing of the land; attracting new <br />industry & encouraging the expansion of existing <br />industry, This goal will be accomplished with the <br />aid of site improvements, acquisitions and building <br />rehabilitation. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and <br />carried, the above addenda were approved and executed. <br />APPROVE ARCHITECTURAL CONSULTING AGREEMENT - KORBULY/GRAF, INC. <br />(POLICE SUBSTATION, 420 NORTH FRANCES STREET) <br />Mr. Leszczynski presented to the Board a Standard Form of Agree- <br />ment Between Owner, Board of Public..Works and Architect, Korbuly/ <br />Graf, Inc., Architects and Engineers, 340 South Columbia Street., <br />South Bend, Indiana, for the project known as Police Substation, <br />420 North Frances Street, South Bend, Indiana, a two story <br />structure with approximately 1600 square feet on each floor. <br />The Agreement indicates that compensation for services is 8.6% <br />of actual total construction cost as determined by the low <br />responsible bidder awarded the contract for construction of <br />site improvements and building construction. Further, if no <br />construction takes place, the basic compensation will be <br />calculated on the Architects's estimated cost schedule. Mr. <br />Leszczynski advised that the approximate cost of the construction <br />of the substation is $90,000.00. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above Agree- <br />ment was approved and executed. <br />1 <br />
