r REGULAR MEETING APRIL 30, 1984 Mr. Leszczynski further advised that favorable recommendations. have been received from the Police Department, Department of Code Enforcement and the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for the above application. It was noted that Mr. Becht provided a letter from the property owner of 2313 Edison Road giving him permission to locate his stand at that location. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the above application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance. APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the following four (4) traffic control devices were approved: REINSTALLATION OF RESIDENTIAL PARKING - 814-816 N. Main. (Erroneously removed with order for hospital -owned, non residential properties). INSTALL STOP SIGN - On Ryer at Elwood. (Uncontrolled "T" intersection). INSTALL STOP SIGN - On Kenmore at Elwood. (Uncontrolled "T" intersection). INSTALL STOP SIGN - On Wellington at Elwood (Uncontrolled "T" intersection). APPROVE CONTRACTOR'S BOND Mr. Melvin B. Humphrey, Engineering Department, recommended that the Contractor's Bond for Abe's Free Flow be approved effective retroactive to April 24, 1984. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above I Contractor's Bond was approved. FILING OF STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT The report submitted to the Board indicated a total of thirteen (13) outages for the period April 6, 1984 to April 19, 1984. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the report was filed. FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a total of fifty-three (53) properties cleaned from April 23, 1984 to April 27, 1984 was submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the report was filed. APPROVE CLAIMS Mr. Michael L. Vance, City Controller, submitted Claim Docket No. 8273 through Claim Docket No. 8687 and recommended approval. Upon a motion.made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the claims were approved and the above request was filed. INTRODUCTION OF NEW STAFF MEMBER TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS Mr. Leszczynski introduced Mr. Joseph Pluta who is a new staff member of the Department of Public Works. Board members welcomed Mr. Pluta to the City administration.
