REGULAR MEETING <br />JANUARY 23. 1984 <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC PARKS <br />TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for the Tree Planting Activity is <br />to plant 140 trees along designated neighborhood <br />commercial strips within the boundaries of the <br />Community Development Neighborhood Revitalization <br />Area. The total cost of this activity shall not <br />exceed $5,000.00. <br />NEIGHBORHOOD CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICE <br />NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN-UP CREW ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for the Neighborhood Clean -Up Crew <br />Activity is to clean up 1,200 sites within the <br />Community Development Neighborhood Revitalization <br />Area. The total cost of this activity shall not <br />exceed $100,000.00. <br />NEIGHBORHOOD CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICE <br />MANAGEMENT/INSPECTION ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal or the Code Enforcement Management/ <br />Inspection Activity is to conduct 3600 inspections. <br />The total cost of this activity shall not exceed <br />$200,000.00. <br />SOUTHEAST SIDE NEIGHBORHOOD P.A.C., INC. <br />CHAMBLEE SOUTHEAST NEIGHBORHOOD ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for the Chamblee Southeast Neighborhood <br />Activity is to be open 240 days for public access to <br />the Center and its services. The total cost of this <br />activity shall not exceed $4,000.00. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and <br />carried, the above contracts were approved and executed. <br />ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 2-1984 - SCRAP AND JUNK <br />DEALERS LICENSE RENEWAL FOR 1984 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2-1984 <br />WHEREAS, a license renewal application for a scrap <br />and junk dealer for the year 1984 has been received <br />by the Board of Public Works; and <br />WHEREAS, inspections of the property have been <br />completed by the Department of Code Enforcement and <br />the Fire Prevention Bureau as required by Chapter 4 <br />Article 4, Section 4-51 of the Municipal Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Code Enforcement and <br />the Fire Prevention Bureau have found that such <br />premises is fit and proper for the maintenance and <br />operation of such a business; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 4, Article 4, Section 4-51 of <br />the Municipal Code requires approval of a Resolution <br />of the Board of. Public Works recommending.the renewal <br />of the license application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public <br />Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the <br />license renewal application for the following scrap <br />and junk dealer be recommended favorably based upon the <br />satisfactory review of the property by the Department of <br />Code Enforcement and the Fire Prevention Bureau: <br />A-1 Auto Parts 2014 Lafayette Blvd. <br />1 <br />:l <br />
