[i1 REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 16, 1984 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS GENERAL STREET IMPROVEMENTS ACTIVITY The targeted goal for the General Street Improvements Activity is to improve 120 blocks within the Neigh- borhood Revitalization Area. The total cost of General Street Improvements under CD84-301 shall not exceed $470,000.00.. RENEW, INC. RENEW, INC. ACQUISITION/REHABILITATION ACTIVITY The targeted goal for the Renew, Inc. Acquisition/Rehab Activity is to acquire and rehabilitate 5 single family housing units within the Neighborhood Revitalization Area. The total cost of the Renew, Inc. Acquisition/Rehab Activity shall not exceed $62,500.00. R.E.A.L. SERVICES REAL SERVICES HANDYMAN ACTIVITY The targeted goal for the REAL Services Handyman Activity is to assist 10 elderly households. The total cost of the REAL Services Handyman Activity shall not exceed $2,000.00. REAL SERVICES, INC. OLDER ADULT CRIME VICTIM PROGRAM ACTIVITY The targeted goal for the Older Adult Crime Victim Program Activity is to counsel 250 victims. The total cost of the Older Adult Crime Victim Program Activity shall not exceed $12,000.00. SPECIALIZED TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM SPECIALIZED TRANSPORTATION SERVICE The targeted goal Yor Specialized Transportation Service is to provide 6,500 one-way trips to handicapped persons residing within the corporate boundaries of the City of South Bend. The total portion of the Specialized Transportation Service Activity budget supplied from Community Development funds shall not exceed $43,000.00. NORTHEAST NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL, INC. NORTHEAST NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL The targeted goal or the Northeast Neighborhood Council Activity is to be open 240 days for public access to the Center and the services it provides. The total cost of the Northeast Neighborhood Center Activity under (CD84-509.2) shall not exceed $4,000.00. NEIGHBORHOOD CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICE DEMOLITION AND CLEARANCE ACTIVITY The targeted goal or the Demolition/Clearance Activity is to demolish and clear 35 units within the Neighborhood Revitalization Area. The total cost of Demolition and Clearance Activities under (CD84-202) shall not exceed $40,000.00. NEIGHBORHOOD CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICE CODE ENFORCEMENT REHABILITATION FUND ACTIVITY The targeted goal for the Code Enforcement Rehabilitation Fund Activity is to complete exterior repairs to 4 rental structures within the Neighborhood Revitalization Area. The total cost of the Code Enforcement Rehabilitation Fund Activity under (CD84-105) shall not exceed $30,000.00. 1 1
