Mr. Leszczynski and Board members thanked Mr. Johnson <br />for presenting this Petition and indicated that the Petition <br />would be referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for <br />review and recommendation. Mr. Leszczynski indicated that <br />it would probably be sometime in the summer before the Bureau <br />of Traffic and Lighting could provide a recommendation on the <br />Petition as traffic counts and other reviews must be made <br />before a recommendation can be forwarded to the Board for <br />consideration.. <br />ANNOUNCEMENT <br />TRAIN WHISTLE BAN ON CONRAIL TRACKS BETIEEN MIAMI & IRONWOOD <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the train whistle ban on the Conrail <br />tracks between Miami and Ironwood will be in effect as of 12:01 a.m., <br />Monday, January 16, 1984. He further indicated that the appropriate <br />signage informing individuals that "trains do not whistle" have <br />been installed. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, <br />the meeting adjourned at 9:49 a.m. <br />John E.
