Nei
REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 27, 1983
Mr. Miles informed the Board that it is his company's policy not
to disclose the names of the corporation officers and that he
would be held personally responsible on behalf of the company.
Mr. Kernan advised Mr. Miles that if he intends to go door-to-door
in a residential neighborhood, that person working for Mr. Miles
in that capacity needs to apply for a City Peddler's license.
If, however, Mr. Miles does not intend to go from door-to-door
in a residential neighborhood he does not need any type of
City license.
Mr. Miles informed the Board that his company carries a line of
over two hundred (200) chemicals including rock salt and
products to stop black .top from melting.
Mr. Miles clarified for the Board that he does not intend to go
from door-to-door in residential neighborhoods but intends to
contact various businesses concerning his products. Based on
this information, he was informed that he does not need any
type of City license but should apply through the state for a
retail merchants license if he has not already done so.
Mr. Miles thanked the Board for their time in discussing and
clarifying this matter for him.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a
motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried,
the meeting was adjourned at 9:59 a.m.
Q
J,aXn E.
