Iff REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 21, 1983 The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:35 a.m, on Monday, November 21, 1983, by President John E. Leszczyn.ski, with Mr. Leszczynski, Mr. Richard L. Hill and Mr. Joseph E. Kernan present. Also present was Chief Deputy City Attorney Thomas Bodnar. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING APPROVED Upon a motion made by Mr. Hill, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the minutes of the November 14, 1983, regular meeting of the'Board were approved. OPENING OF BIDS JANITORIAL SERVICES, INCLUDING PEST AND RODENT CONTROL AT POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THREE POLICE SUBSTATIONS This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to services. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read: FRANKLIN PEST CONTROL 614 West Calvert Street South Bend, Indiana 46613 Bid was signed by Robert Ziker, President and Jackie Daehzy, Secretary, Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order and a 5% Bid Bond was submitted. Bid for Pest and Rodent Control - $720.00 ABSOLUTE PEST & TERMITE CONTROL, INC. Bid was signed by Rocco DiLorenzo, 2228 Lincolnway West President and Herbert Brewer, Mishawaka, Indiana 46544 Secretary, Non -Collusion Affi- davit was in order and a Certified Check in the amount of $40.00 was submitted. Bid for Pest and Rodent Control - $66.00 per mo. or $792.00 per year BRAYLEON'S CLEANING SERVICE, INC. Bid was signed by Brayleon 215 Teri Street Jennings, President and Barbara South Bend, Indiana 46614 J. Jennings, Secretary, Non - Collusion Affidavit was in order and a Cashier's Check in the amount of $914.00 was submitted. Bid for Janitorial Services, including pest and rodent control - $18,275.00 The bid indicated that the amount of $17,475.00 will be for janitorial services and the remainder of $800.00 will be for pest control. If both are accepted, Brayleon's will render services for the total price of $18,275.00. BEST CLEANING SERVICES 2601 Mishawaka South Bend, Indiana 46615 Bid for Janitorial Services - $17,592.00 Bid was signed by Deborah J. Bardner and Thomas E.
