REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 21, 1985 <br />As the telephone call received by Mr. Vance was prompted by a <br />letter which the complainant received from.the Deputy City <br />Controller concerning licensing compliance by all taxicab <br />operations approved by the Board, upon a motion made by Ms. <br />Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the Clerk was <br />instructed to refer theabovereferred to complaint to the Chief <br />Deputy Controller for investigation as well as request from the <br />Chief Deputy Controller a status report on the investigation of <br />the taxicab companies currently holding:Certificates of Public <br />Convenience and Necessity and whether they are in complete <br />compliance with licensing requirements. <br />REQUEST FOR STATUS REPORT ON THE CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC <br />CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY OF ROSELAND CAB COMPANY <br />Mr. James Wensits, Reporter, South Bend Tribune, inquired as to <br />the status of the Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity <br />of Roseland CabCompanywhich was suspended by the Board at its, <br />Public Hearing held on October 7, 1985. In response, Board <br />members advised Mr. Wensits that the license is still suspended <br />and they were not aware if Mr. Roger Woods has supplied to the <br />Chief Deputy Controller any of the information as requested at <br />the Public Hearing. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and <br />carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:55 a.m. <br />�-eszczynsVV- <br />OM. <br />._Katherine-G.
