Teske - Vehicles No. 7 $78.00 19 38.00 TOTAL: J & D Transportation - Vehicle No. 1 $25.00 GRAND TOTAL: $220.00 $116.00 $507.50 APPROVE PURCHASE AGREEMENT - SALE OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY AT 1124 NAPIER STREET In accordance with the bid awarded on June 24, 1985, for the purchase of the City -owned lot at 1124 Napier Street in the amount of $230.00 to Mr. Sam Mercantini, 410 Lincolnway East, P.O. Box 726, Mishawaka, Indiana, the Purchase Agreement was being submitted at this time for Board approval. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the Purchase Agreement was approved and the matter referred to the City Attorney's office for the drafting of the appropriate Quit -Claim Deed. ACCEPT AND APPROVE QUIT -CLAIM DEED - LARC DEVELOPMENT COMPANY Mr. Leszczynski submitted to the Board a Quit -Claim Deed received from LARC Development Company, by Robert A. Rose, General Partner, for Lot Number 5 in "Park One Northwest" which conveys to the City of South Bend, the retention pond designed to handle the storm water discharge from the streets in Park One Northwest and any storm water discharged thereon. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the Quit -Claim Deed was accepted and approved. APPROVE RECOMMENDATION TO REJECT BID OF WILLIAMS CONTRACTING FOR NAPIER AND WAYNE CURB AND WALK IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Board Attorney Carolyn V. Pfotenhauer advised that the bid of Williams Contracting, 1240 North Kaley Street, South Bend, Indiana, submitted to the Board on August 12, 1985, for the above referred to project, did not contain a signed Non -Collusion Affidavit and should therefore be rejected for non-compliance with bid requirements. Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the bid rejected. AWARD BID - NAPIER AND WAYNE CURB AND WALK IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT In a letter to the Board, Mr. Neil A. Shanahan, Manager, Bureau of Public Construction recommended that the Board award the bid of McIntyre & Jones Construction Company, Inc., 2526 West 6th Street, Mishawaka, Indiana, in the amount of $43,447.50 for the Napier and Wayne Curb and Walk Improvements Project. Mr. Leszczynski advised that bids for the above referred to project 1 1
