REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 15, 1985 <br />- Two (2) fire extinguishers (one in the front and one in the <br />rear) must be installed in the trailer. <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and <br />carried, the request was approved subject to the above referred to <br />recommendations being met <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a <br />total of two -hundred twenty-one (221) properties cleaned from July <br />5, 1985 to July 12, 1985, was submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Vance, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the report as <br />submitted was filed. <br />FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY REPORT - JUNE <br />The Humane Society report for the month of June indicated the <br />following matters handled for the City of South Bend: <br />DOGS HANDLED: 210 <br />CATS HANDLED: 211 <br />OTHER ANIMALS HANDLED: ill <br />BITE CASES HANDLED: 11 <br />COMPLAINTS HANDLED: 155 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Ms. Barnard and <br />carried, the above report as submitted was accepted and filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. John W. Ferguson, Acting Director, St. Joseph County Job <br />Training Program submitted a list containing fifty-seven (57) <br />claims and recommended approval. Additionally, Deputy City <br />Controller Carol M. Sanders submitted Claim Docket No. 015849 <br />through Claim Docket No. 016212 and recommended approval. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the <br />claims were approved and the reports as submitted were tiled. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the <br />meeting adjourned at 10:03 a.m. <br />' L 0_1 <br />Katherine G.
