Petitioner: Tom Niemier <br />Address: 927 North Wilber <br />Street to be closed: 900 Block of North Adams Street <br />Dates and Times: July 28, 1985 - 2:00-10:00 p.m. <br />Purpose: Neighborhood Block Party <br />2. Gartner, Vice -President <br />Keller Park Neighborhood Assn. <br />Bryan Street from the west line <br />of Sherman Avenue to the east <br />line of the first alley west of <br />Sherman. <br />July 13, 1985 - 4:00-8:00 p.m. <br />Neighborhood Social Program in <br />connection with the Christian <br />Community Center Church <br />Mr. Leszczynski further advised that approval is subject to the <br />maintenance of a ten (10) foot clear and unobstructed lane at <br />either curb or down the center of the street for emergency <br />purposes. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. <br />Vance and carried, the above recommendation was accepted and the <br />requests approved. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and <br />carried, the following one (1) traffic control device was <br />approved: <br />NEW INSTALLATION, STOP SIGN - On Kennedy at Byron. <br />("T" Intersection). <br />APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMIT - COMMERCIAL TRANSPORTATION FOR <br />MOBILITY HANDICAPPED PERSONS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board has received one (1) <br />application for a South Bend Handicapped Parking Permit for <br />Commercial Transportation for Mobility Handicapped Persons. As <br />required by the South Bend'Municipal Code, the applicant submitted <br />along with the application, a Certificate of Incorporation as well <br />as Proof of Liability Insurance. Therefore, upon a motion made by <br />Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried the following <br />application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's <br />office for issuance of the appropriate number of permits: <br />1. Corporation: Road Runner, Inc. <br />Address: 828 East Sorin St., So. Bend, IN <br />Resident Agent: John J. Walsh <br />FILING OF STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The report submitted to the Board indicated a total of <br />one -hundred -sixteen (116) street light outages reported during the <br />month of June. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by <br />Mr. Vance and carried, the report as submitted was filed. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a <br />total of one -hundred seventy-three (173) properties cleaned from <br />June 28, 1985 to July 3, 1985, was submitted. Upon a motion made <br />by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the report <br />as submitted was filed. <br />
