REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 29, 1985 <br />1 <br />1 <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - RUBBISH AND GARBAGE <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following one (1) Rubbish and <br />Garbage license application has been received: <br />1. James Freeman <br />1150 S. Lafayette, S.B. <br />It was noted that inspections of the trucks to be used had been <br />conducted by the Solid Waste Bureau and the applicant was found to <br />be in compliance. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded <br />by Ms. Barnard and carried, the above license application was <br />approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for <br />issuance. <br />APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and <br />carried, the following three (3) handicapped parking permit <br />applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's <br />office for issuance of permits: <br />1. Josephine Szalewski, 936 Lombardy, S.B. <br />2. Edward A. Sobol, 18844 Waite Blvd., S.B. <br />3. Keith A. Kaser, 819 E. Milton, S.B. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR'S AND EXCAVATION BONDS <br />Mr. Melvin Humphrey, Engineering Department, recommended that the <br />Contractor's Bond for Geofrich Construction, Inc. be approved <br />retroactive to April 23, 1985, the Contractor's Bond for Hanks <br />Enterprizes be approved retroactive to April 24, 1985 and the <br />Excavation Bond for Aire Tech be approved retroactive to April 24, <br />1985. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. <br />Vance and carried, the above Contractor's and Excavation Bonds <br />were approved. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a <br />total of seventy-four (74) properties cleaned from April 22, 1985 <br />to April 26, 1985 was submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the report as <br />submitted was filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Deputy City Controller Carol M. Sanders submitted Claim Docket No. <br />9476 through Claim Docket No. 9912 and recommended approval. Upon <br />a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, <br />the claims were approved and the reports as submitted were filed. <br />
