Mr. Leszczynski further <br />advised that the property has an appraisal value of $675.00. The <br />Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend <br />Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be <br />sufficient. As no bids for the purchase of this property were <br />received, upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the Clerk was instructed to contact Mr. Andrew Gill, <br />1107 West Colfax, South Bend, Indiana, who had originally <br />expressed an interest in purchasing the property, and advise him <br />that the City is willing to sell the property for one-half of the <br />appraised value. It was noted that Mr. Gill owns the house south <br />of the property at 1614 South Scott Street and has previously <br />indicated that he would like to acquire the above referred to lot <br />to enhance that property. <br />APPROVE PURCHASE AGREEMENTS - SALE OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY AT 1614 <br />HIGH STREET, 1002 WEST LA SALLE, SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LELAND AND <br />MARION, 809 OAK AND 323 CUSHING <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, Purchase Agreements for the following City -owned lots <br />were approved and executed and the matter referred to the City <br />Attorney's office for the drafting of the appropriate Quit -Claim <br />Deeds: <br />
