REGULAR MEETING <br />JANUARY 22, 1985 <br />referred to equipment. As City offices were closed on January <br />21st in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday, bids <br />received were opened this date. The Clerk tendered proofs of <br />publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County <br />News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were <br />opened and publicly read: <br />EDWARDS ELECTRIC & REFRIGERATION <br />COMPANY, INC. <br />545 South East Street <br />Indianapolis, Indiana 46225 <br />LIBERTY TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPART - <br />MENT, INC. <br />North Liberty, Indiana <br />BREATHING AIR SYSTEMS DIVISION <br />SUB -AQUATICS, INC. <br />8855 East Broad Street <br />Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068 <br />CARPENTER'S <br />1102 West 7th Street <br />Anderson, Indiana 46011 <br />BID: $ 940.00 <br />BID: $1,500.00 <br />BID: $ 850.00 <br />BID: $ 907.00 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and <br />carried, the high bid of the Liberty Township Fire Department in <br />the amount of $1,500.00 was accepted and approved. <br />OPENING AND AWARD OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that January 21, 1985, was the date set <br />for the receiving of sealed bids for the sale of approximately <br />twelve (12) abandoned vehicles, none of which are valued at over <br />$100.00 and all of which have been stored at Steve and Gene's Auto <br />& Truck Salvage and Repair, 3109 South Gertrude Street, South <br />Bend, Indiana.
