PACKAGE (COVELESKI REGIONAL STADIUM PROJECT) In a letter to the Board, Mr. Michael P. Meeks, Manager, Bureau of Public Construction, recommended that the Board award the low base bid of Carl J. Reinke & Sons, Inc., 1216 West Sample Street, P.O. Box 3095, South Bend, Indiana, in the amount of $4,162,831.00 for the above referred to project. Mr. Leszczynski advised that bids for this project were opened by the Board on October 14, 1986. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the bid awarded, subject to the filing of the appropriate Insurance, Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond. APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT The following Community Development Contract was presented to the Board for approval: CENTER CITY ASSOCIATES, INC. SOUTH BEND CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA COMMERCIAL REVOLVING LOAN GUARANTEE FUND The targeted goal for this activity is to provide loan/grant assistance to ten (10) businesses in the South Bend Central Development Area. The total cost -of this activity shall not exceed $100,000.00. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the above Contract was approved and executed.
