REGULAR MEETING <br />OCTOBER 21, 1986 <br />to October 17, 1986, <br />DeClercq, seconded b <br />submitted was filed. <br />y <br />was submitted. Upon a motion made by Mrs. <br />Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the report'as <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO CLOSE MANITOU PLACE FOR NEIGHBORHOOD HALLOWEE <br />PARTY - OCTOBER 25, 1986 <br />In a letter to the Board, Ms. Margaret Moody, 721 Forest Avenue, <br />South Bend, Indiana, on behalf of the Park Avenue Neighborhood <br />Association (PANA) requested that Manitou Place from Park Avenue <br />to Forest Avenue, be closed from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on <br />October 25, 1986, with a rain date of October 26, 1986, for a <br />neighborhood Halloween Party sponsored by PANA. Mr. Leszczynski <br />advised that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police <br />Department Traffic Division have reviewed this request and <br />recommend approval. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the <br />recommendation was accepted and the request approved. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and <br />carried, the following one (1) traffic control device was <br />approved: <br />1. REMOVAL OF NO PARKING, REVISED TO 2 HR. PARKING 6A -6P - <br />1100 20th, West side, North 1/2 block from Northside. <br />(Requested by Mr. T. Frederick, Parkview Juvenile Home). <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. John W. Ferguson, Executive Director, St. Joseph County Job <br />Training Program submitted two (2) lists containing ninety-six <br />(96) claims and recommended approval. Additionally, Deputy City <br />Controller Carol M. Sanders submitted Claim Docket No. 026787 <br />through Claim Docket No. 027972 and recommended approval. Upon a <br />motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, <br />the claims were approved and the reports as submitted were filed. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and <br />carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:51 a.m. <br />'e <br />Jo E.
