224.: REGULAR MEETING JULY 1, 1986 ADDENDUM I LINCOLNWAY WEST BUSINESS ASSOCIATION CITYWIDE COMMERCIAL REVOLVING LOAN FUND Addendum I adds $39,500.00 to the Contract amount and makes minor wording changes under note in Special Conditions section. Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the above Contract and Addendum were approved and executed. APPROVE CONTRACT FOR COLLECTION SERVICES PAST DUE AMBULANCE SERVICE ACCOUNTS In a letter to the Board, Fire Chief Luther Taylor advised that the Department recently solicited proposals for collection services for past due ambulance bills. Two replies were received. Midwest Collection Services proposed a 40% fee rate and Federated Collection Services, Inc. proposed a 35% fee rate. Based on the lower fee, Chief Taylor recommended Federated Collection Service as the collection agent for 1986. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the Contract as submitted was approved and executed. APPROVE BLOCK PARTY REQUEST In a letter to the Board, Ms. Lynn Crowley, 1218 Belmont Street, South Bend, Indiana, requested that the 1100 and 1200 Blocks of East Belmont Avenue be closed on July 4, 1986 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. for a block picnic. Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting has reviewed this request and recommends approval subject to the maintenance of a ten foot (101) clear and unobstructed lane at either curb or down the center of the street for emergency purposes. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the request was approved. APPROVE SIDEWALK SALE PERMIT APPLICATION Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following Sidewalk Sale Permit Application has been received: NAME: Osco Drug Store BY: Keith Herbrand, Assistant Manager LOCATION: 128 South Michigan Street DATES: July 5-6, 1986 Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the application as submitted was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of a permit. APPROVE TRANSFER OF TITLE - ONE MICHIANA SQUARE ASSOCIATES Mr. Kevin Butler, Attorney at Law, 405 West Wayne Street, South Bend, Indiana, on behalf of The Holladay Corporation, 227 South Main Street, Suite 101, South Bend, Indiana, advised the Board that submitted to them today for approval is a Transfer of Title of Lot 7, River Bend Addition, from One Michiana Square Associates (Grantor) to One Michiana Partners (Grantee). Mr. Butler stated that One Michiana Square Associates, owners of the above referred to property, propose to transfer title to a new limited partnership, One Michiana Partners, with One Michigan Square Associates being the only general partner of One Michiana Partners. It was further noted that One Michiana Investors is the only limited partner of One Michiana Partners, and Mesirow Real Estate Investments, Inc., an investment banking concern in Chicago, is the only general partner of One Michiana Investors.
