Wayne Street Wayne Street between Esther and Greenlawn Avenues July 4, 1986 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. It was noted that all Petitioners will be advised that the barricades necessary to close the streets will be delivered by the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and that a ten foot (10') clear and unobstructed lane at either curb or down the center of the street must be maintained for emergency purposes. DENY REQUEST FOR HANDICAP PARKING SIGN In a letter to the Board, Mrs. Barbara J. Ham, 501 E. Klinger Street, P.O. Box 2333, South Bend, Indiana, (Southmore Mutual Housing Corporation) requested that an handicap parking sign be installed at the parking bay at 501 E. Klinger Street. She stated that the Corporation has approved the installation of the sign. Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Department Traffic Division have reviewed this request, and as it is requested that the sign be erected on private property, recommend that the request be denied. They further advised that Southmore Mutual Housing Corporation is responsible for the installation of such sign. Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the request denied. APPROVE REVISED LOCATIONS OF NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LETTER CARRIERS INTERSECTION SOLICITATIONS - JULY 13, 1986 Mr. Leszczynski advised that subsequent to the Board's June 3, 1986, approval of the request of the National Association of Letter Carriers to conduct intersection solicitations, a change has been made in the locations to be utilized with the following locations now being requested: 1. Miami & Ireland 2. Edison & Ironwood 3. Jefferson & Eddy Mr. Leszczynski further advised that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Department Traffic Division have reviewed the suggested change and recommend approval of the above referred to three (3) intersections. Therefore, upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the request approved. APPROVE REQUEST TO CLOSE DRIVEWAY IN FRONT OF THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM FOR SPAGHETTI PICNIC STYLE DINNER - JULY 12. 1986 In a Memorandum to the Board, Mr. Brian R.
