AND WESTERN AVENUE & 1ST LOT E. OF 1025 WESTERN AVENUE Submitted to the Board were Quit -Claim Deeds received from Walter J. Borkowski transferring to the City the following known as the northeast corner of Walnut and Western Avenue block West Western) and the first lot East of the building located at 1025 W. Western: Mr. lots (1200 Lot Numbered One (1) as shown on the Recorded Plat of the Willits' Sub -division of the South Half (1/2) of Bank Out Lot Numbered Eighty-nine (89) of the State Bank's Second Addition to the Town, now City, of South Bend. Subject to all easements and restrictions of record; and Lot 71 except for Street, Commissioner's Sub of Bank Out Lot 85, and 86, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the Deeds as submitted were accepted APPROVE EASEMENT - ONE MICHIANA SQUARE ASSOCIATES Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, an easement granting One Michiana Square Associates a five foot ( 5' ) by ninety-eight foot ( 98' ) easement for a parking ramp was approved. It was noted that the real estate which is the subject of this Easement is a portion of Michigan Street (public way) that is adjacent to the abutting Lot 7 of River Bend Addition to the City of South Bend. CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 (FINAL REGULAR MEETING JUNE 24, 1986 APPROVE OFFERS TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY - BUREAU OF HOUSING LOCAL HOMESTEADING PROGRAM (824 NORTH ALLEN & 1223 EAST CORBY BOULEVARD) Mr. Ted Leverman, Acting Director, Bureau of Housing, advised that the Bureau is again purchasing vacant two -to -four bedroom houses in need of repair for the Local Homesteading Program with said houses being offered in a lottery in the Fall of this year. These properties, located in the Community Development Neighborhood Revitalization Area, will be awarded to eligible applicants who will agree to rehabilitate and live in them for three (3) years prior to receiving the deed.
