A; � REGULAR MEETING JUNE 17, 1986 interested individuals and present a recommendation to the Common Council who has the final authority for either the approval or denial of the Vacation Petition. Mr. Miller inquired if all the residents of the area affected that have fences on the public right-of-way will have to appear before the BZA as well. Ms. Barnard stated that her office will follow-up on that matter. Mrs. Viro Thompson, 1108 North St. Peter Street, South Bend, Indiana, one of the Petitioners, stated that she has a fence around her house and around one -quarter of a lot that she owns. Mr. Miller advised the Board that Ms. Thompson's fence is on the public right-of-way. Mr. Leszczynski and Ms. Barnard advised Ms. Thompson that they will stay in touch with her regarding this matter. APPROVE AND ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 13-1986 - JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND THE BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS_ OF THE PARK DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the following Board Resolution No. 13-1986, being a Joint Resolution of the Board of Public Works and the Board of Park Commissioners was approved and adopted: RESOLUTION NO. 13-1986 A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND AND THE BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS OF THE PARK DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend (Public Works) owns in fee simple certain parcels of land within the City of South Bend, more fully described in Attachments A, B, and C, attached to and made a part of this resolution (Property); and WHEREAS, the Board of Park Commissioners of the Park District of the City of South Bend (Park Board) on November 29, 1985, adopted a resolution entitled "A Resolution of the Board of Park Commissioners of the Park District of the City of South Bend Declaring Its Intent to Acquire By Lease/ Purchase a Stadium Facility, to Acquire Other Property and to Construct Improvements Thereon", in which it declared its determination to acquire certain improvements and works of construction within the Park District of the City of South Bend (Park District), for the purpose of establishing a new park to be owned and operated by the Park District, to add the park to the plan of the Park District, and to name the park the Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium Park (Park); and WHEREAS, by a resolution adopted December 9, 1985, the Park Board ratified and confirmed in all respects the Park Resolution. WHEREAS, the property is within the area within which the Park Board will develop the Park; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend and the Board of Park Commissioners of the Park District of the City of South Bend, as follows: 1. The paragraphs above are incorporated into and made a part of this resolution.
