1'71 REGULAR MEETING MAY 20, 1986 Brookfield Street from Florence Street to Fassnacht; Fassnacht Street from Brookfield to John Street; Johnson Street from Fassnacht Street to Florence Street; Florence Street from Johnson Street to Brookfield Street. Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the above request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and Police Department Traffic Division for review and recommendation. REQUEST OF NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LETTER CARRIERS TO CONDUCT INTERSECTION SOLICITATIONS - JULY 13, 1986 - REFERRED In a letter to the Board, Ms. Karen Locke, District Director, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Commerce Building, 103 West Wayne Street, Suite 312, South Bend, Indiana, advised that the National Association of Letter Carriers, South Bend Branch #330, requests permission to hold their annual Muscular Dystrophy Association Solicitation on Sunday, July 13, 1986 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the following intersections: 1. Miami & Ireland 2. Edison & Ironwood 3. Jefferson & Eddy Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the above request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Department Traffic Division for review and recommendation. APPROVE TITLE SHEETS: - GEORGETOWN - UNIT 2 - PART 3 - VIRIDIAN DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Title Sheets for the above referred to projects were being presented at this time for execution. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the above referred to Title Sheets were approved and signed. APPROVE AND RELEASE CONTRACTORS AND EXCAVATION BONDS Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. Melvin B. Humphrey of the Engineering Department recommended that the following Contractors Bonds and Excavation Bonds be approved or released as follows: CONTRACTOR'S BONDS GARDEN HOMES BY E.L., INC. APPROVED EFFECTIVE 5/20/86 C. WARDLOW CONSTRUCTION APPROVED EFFECTIVE 5/20/86 MULTI -TRADES CONSTRUCTION, INC. RELEASED EFFECTIVE 6/13/86 EXCAVATION BONDS JOHN BOETTCHER D/B/A JOHN BOETTCHER EXCAVATING APPROVED EFFECTIVE 5/20/86 EAGLE EXCAVATING, INC. RELEASED EFFECTIVE 6/9/86 Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the above bonds were approved and/or released. APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the following two (2) handicapped parking permit applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of permits:
