1 23 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 15, 1986 <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO CONDUCT 8TH ANNUAL ST. ADALBERT/CORVILLA RUN - <br />JULY 13, 1986 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />Police Department Traffic Division,and Legal Department have <br />reviewed the above referred to request submitted to the Board on <br />April 8, 1986, and recommend approval. It was noted that final <br />details and costs involved will be finalized with the <br />Petitioner. Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. <br />Vance and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the <br />request approved. <br />APPROVE REOUEST TO CLOSE STREET IN CONJUNCTION WITH "CLEAN SWEEP <br />`86" SPONSORED BY THE INTERNATIONAL ASSN. OF BLACK PROFESSIONAL <br />FIREFIGHTERS/SOUTH BEND - APRIL 26, 1986 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />Police Department Traffic Division and the Legal Department have <br />reviewed the above referred to request submitted to the Board on <br />April 8, 1986, and recommend approval. Upon a motion made by Ms. <br />Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the recommendation <br />was accepted and the request approved. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO CONDUCT HANDS ACROSS AMERICA IN SOUTH BEND - <br />MAY 25, 1986 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />Police Department Traffic Division and the Legal Department have <br />reviewed the above referred to request, submitted to the Board on <br />April 8, 1986, by the Office of Community Affairs, and recommend <br />approval. Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. <br />Vance and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the <br />request approved. <br />APPROVE REQUEST OF STUDEBAKER MUSEUM FOR: <br />- TRAFFIC CONTROL AND CROWD ASSISTANCE FOR 1ST ANNUAL STUDEBAKER <br />FESTIVAL; AND <br />- PERMISSION TO CONDUCT PARADE - JUNE 7, 1986 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that pursuant to the above referred to <br />request submitted to the Board on February 25, 1986, the Bureau <br />of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Department Traffic <br />Division have reviewed the requests and recommend approval. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. <br />Vance and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the <br />request approved. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a <br />total of seventy-three (73) properties cleaned from April 4, 1986 <br />to April 10, 1986, was submitted. Upon a motion made by Ms. <br />Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the report as <br />submitted was filed. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and <br />carried, the Certificate of Insurance for Delta Star Electric, <br />Inc., 1125 South Walnut Street, South Bend, Indiana, was accepted <br />and filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Deputy City Controller Carol M. Sanders submitted Claim Docket <br />No. 7785 through Claim Docket No. 8201 and recommended approval. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Ms. Barnard and <br />carried, the claims were approved and the report filed. <br />
