1 23 REGULAR MEETING APRIL 15, 1986 APPROVE REQUEST TO CONDUCT 8TH ANNUAL ST. ADALBERT/CORVILLA RUN - JULY 13, 1986 Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, Police Department Traffic Division,and Legal Department have reviewed the above referred to request submitted to the Board on April 8, 1986, and recommend approval. It was noted that final details and costs involved will be finalized with the Petitioner. Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the request approved. APPROVE REOUEST TO CLOSE STREET IN CONJUNCTION WITH "CLEAN SWEEP `86" SPONSORED BY THE INTERNATIONAL ASSN. OF BLACK PROFESSIONAL FIREFIGHTERS/SOUTH BEND - APRIL 26, 1986 Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, Police Department Traffic Division and the Legal Department have reviewed the above referred to request submitted to the Board on April 8, 1986, and recommend approval. Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the request approved. APPROVE REQUEST TO CONDUCT HANDS ACROSS AMERICA IN SOUTH BEND - MAY 25, 1986 Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, Police Department Traffic Division and the Legal Department have reviewed the above referred to request, submitted to the Board on April 8, 1986, by the Office of Community Affairs, and recommend approval. Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the request approved. APPROVE REQUEST OF STUDEBAKER MUSEUM FOR: - TRAFFIC CONTROL AND CROWD ASSISTANCE FOR 1ST ANNUAL STUDEBAKER FESTIVAL; AND - PERMISSION TO CONDUCT PARADE - JUNE 7, 1986 Mr. Leszczynski advised that pursuant to the above referred to request submitted to the Board on February 25, 1986, the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Department Traffic Division have reviewed the requests and recommend approval. Therefore, upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the request approved. FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a total of seventy-three (73) properties cleaned from April 4, 1986 to April 10, 1986, was submitted. Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the report as submitted was filed. FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the Certificate of Insurance for Delta Star Electric, Inc., 1125 South Walnut Street, South Bend, Indiana, was accepted and filed. APPROVE CLAIMS Deputy City Controller Carol M. Sanders submitted Claim Docket No. 7785 through Claim Docket No. 8201 and recommended approval. Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the claims were approved and the report filed.
