9- <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 25, 1986 <br />APPROVE TITLE SHEET - KENSINGTON FARMS EAST, SECTION 3 - PART 8 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Title Sheet for the above <br />referred to project which entails improvements in Kensington <br />Farms, was being presented at this time for execution. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and <br />carried, the above referred to Title Sheet was approved and <br />signed. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and <br />carried, the following four (4) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />1. NEW INSTALLATION, NO PARKING LOADING ZONE - Gate <br />5A - 700 N. Bendix, Bendix Corp., 50 ft. <br />(Requested by Dick Wyatt). <br />2. REMOVAL OF 2-HR PARKING 6A-6P, REVISED TO NO <br />PARKING - 1716 S. Michigan, South Police <br />Sector, 30 ft. (Visibility from exiting <br />parking lot). <br />3. NEW INSTALLATION, HANDICAP TOW AWAY ZONE - <br />1734 Leer. (Anna Waterman has spastic quadriplegia). <br />4. NEW INSTALLATION, HANDICAP TOW AWAY ZONE - <br />822 S. Edison. (Melvine Micinski has hydro- <br />cephalus & acoustic neuroma). <br />It was noted that the installation of a handicap sign at 822 <br />South Edison was in response to the request submitted to the <br />Board on February 27, 1986, by Mr. Eugene Micinski and the <br />installation of the handicap sign at 1734 Leer Street was in <br />response to the request submitted to the Board on March 13, 1986, <br />by Carol Jean Waterman of that address. <br />APPROVE RELEASE OF EXCAVATION BOND <br />Mr. Melvin Humphrey, Engineering Department, recommended that the <br />Excavation Bond for Aire Tech be released effective April 19, <br />1986. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. <br />Vance and carried, the above referred to Excavation Bond was <br />released. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a <br />total of seventy-one (71) properties cleaned from March 14, 1986 <br />to March 20, 1986, was submitted. Upon a motion made by Ms. <br />Barnard, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the report as <br />submitted was filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. John W. Ferguson, Executive Director, St. Joseph County Job <br />Training Program submitted a list containing one hundred fourteen <br />(114) claims and recommended approval. Additionally, Deputy City <br />Controller Carol M. Sanders submitted Claim Docket No. 005987 <br />through Claim Docket No. 006646 and recommended approval. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, <br />the claims were approved and the reports as submitted were filed. <br />
