0 REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 11, 1986 OPENING OF BIDS - ONE (1) 10,500 GVWR REPLACEMENT CAB AND CHASSIS FOR SOUTH BEND FIRE DEPARTMENT AMBULANCE This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to equipment. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read: GATES CHEVROLET CORPORATION 401 S. Lafayette, P.O. Box 4056 South Bend, Indiana Bid was signed by Patrick M. Kelly, Fleet Manager, Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order and a 10% Bid Bond was submitted. BID: 1 1986 Chevrolet Cab/Chassis - Model CC314403 $14,888.79 EXCEPTIONS 1. Generator - 105 amp. 2. Bench seat - bucket seats not available 3. Cannot specify tire brand 4. Throttle - manual adjustable pull type 5. West Coast mirrors - painted 6. Radio in AM/FM Delco GM, not a conrad receiver 7. Tires are LT 215/85R 16D 8. Air conditioning is GM factory installed - only available TOM WOOD PONTIAC-GMC, INC. 7550 East Washington Street Indianapolis, Indiana 46219 Bid was signed by R.L. Matthews, Jr., Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order and a 10% Bid Bond was submitted. OF THE 1ST E/W ALLEY SO. OF HILDRETH ST. RUNNING W. FROM THE 1ST N/S ALLEY W. OF GREENLAWN AVENUE AND STREET VACATIONS: GREENLAWN AVENUE FROM NORTHSIDE BLVD. TO THE SO. RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF RUSKIN AND A PORTION OF HILDRETH STREET, FROM GREENLAWN AVENUE, WEST APPROXIMATELY 190 FEET Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the Board's Public Hearing on the following proposed alley and street vacations: The north/south leg (127' x 14') of which is bounded on the north by the south R.O.W. line of Hildreth Street, on the east by Lots 22, 23 and 24, inclusive, of Mikesell's Addition (IUSB property), on the south by the U.S. Army Reserve Center (City property) and on the west by Lot 116 of the Bellevue Addition (IUSB property);
