14. <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JANUARY 14, 1986 <br />FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY REPORT - DECEMBER, 1985 <br />The Humane Society report for the month of December indicated the <br />following matters handled for the City of South Bend: <br />DOGS HANDLED: <br />220 <br />CATS HANDLED: <br />117 <br />OTHER ANIMALS HANDLED: <br />38 <br />BITE CASES HANDLED: <br />6 <br />COMPLAINTS HANDLED: <br />145 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard <br />and carried, the above report as submitted was accepted and <br />filed. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a <br />total of thirty-six (3.6) properties cleaned from January 6, 1986 <br />to January 10, 1986 was submitted. Upon a motion made by Ms. <br />Barnard, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the report as <br />submitted was filed. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard <br />and carried, the Certificate of Insurance for O.J. Shoemaker, <br />Inc., P.O. Box 418, South Bend, Indiana, was accepted and filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. John W. Ferguson, Executive Director, St. Joseph County Job <br />Training Program submitted a list containing fifty-one (51) <br />claims and recommended approval. Additionally, Deputy City <br />Controller Carol M. Sanders submitted Claim Docket No. 000001 <br />through Claim Docket No. 000548 and recommended approval.
