REGULAR MEETING <br />AUGUST 24, 1987 <br />CONTRACTORS <br />Sunshine Pool & Spa, Inc., APPROVED <br />d/b/a Sunshine Construction <br />Small, Inc. APPROVED <br />Retroactive to 8/20/87 <br />Effective 8/24/87 <br />Retroactive to 8/17/87 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the recommendations were accepted and the bonds as <br />outlined above were approved. <br />FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY REPORT - JULY <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski <br />and carried, the Humane Society Report for the month of July was <br />accepted for filing as submitted. Mrs. DeClercq advised that she <br />is continuing to work with the Humane Society to develop a <br />reporting system that accurately indicates the numbers of animals <br />handled pursuant to the current Contract with the Humane Society. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the Certificate of Insurance for The Potawatomi <br />Zoological Society, P.O. Box 1764, South Bend, Indiana, was <br />accepted and filed. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Two (2) reports from the Department of Code Enforcement <br />indicating fifty-eight (58) properties cleaned from August 10, <br />1987 to August 14, 1987 and one hundred eleven (111) properties <br />cleaned from August 17, 1987 to August 21, 1987, were submitted. <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski <br />and carried, the reports as submitted were filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. John W. Ferguson, Executive Director, St. Joseph County Job <br />Training Program, submitted two (2) lists containing one hundred <br />nine (109) claims and recommended approval. Additionally, Deputy <br />City Controller Carol M. Sanders submitted Claim Docket No. 12838 <br />through Claim Docket No. 13245 and recommended approval. Upon a <br />motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and <br />carried, the claims were approved and the reports as submitted <br />were filed. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and <br />carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:46 a.m. <br />4t9 6e t-e� <br />Patricia E.
