LUEChB, MAYOR <br />SOUTH BEND POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />DARRYL BOYIQNS, CHIEF OF POLICE <br />October 20, 2009 <br />'~~c~\ g~f-O~ <br />Mr. Derek Dieter <br />President, South Bend Common Council <br />4th Floor, County-City Building <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />Re: Ordinance Appropriating Funds for Squad Cars <br />Dear President Dieter: <br />Enclosed for filing with the South Bend Common Council is an ordinance appropriating <br />$76,000.00 from General Fund # 101 for the purchase of three (3) squad cars and accessory <br />equipment. <br />The SBPD has been accumulating monies within General Fund #101 from reimbursed <br />repairs to damaged police equipment, so the acquisition of these squad cars will be covered by <br />those monies.
