REGULAR MEETING MAY 19, 1987 <br />FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY REPORT - APRIL <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the monthly Humane Society Report <br />for the month of April has been received. Mrs. Patricia E. <br />DeClercq, Director, Department of Code Enforcement, advised that <br />her Department is continuing to work with the Humane Society for <br />clarification of reporting and to formulate a reporting form that <br />reflects the services required by the City as addressed in the <br />Contract entered into with the Society for animal control <br />services. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, <br />seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the above report as submitted <br />was accepted and filed. <br />FILING OF STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT - APRIL <br />The report submitted to the Board indicated a total of one <br />hundred eighteen (118) street light outages reported during the <br />month of April. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded <br />by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the report as submitted was filed. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Vance and <br />carried, the Certificate of Insurance for Doyle Signs, Inc., 232 <br />Interstate Road, Addison, Illinois, was accepted and filed. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a <br />total of one hundred nine (109) properties cleaned from <br />May 11, 1987 to May 15, 1987, was submitted. Upon a motion made <br />by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the report <br />as submitted was filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. John W. Ferguson, Executive Director, St. Joseph County Job <br />Training Program submitted a list containing fifty (50) claims <br />and recommended approval. Additionally, Deputy City Controller <br />Carol M. Sanders submitted Claim Docket No. 8415 through Claim <br />Docket No. 8743 and recommended approval. Upon a motion made by <br />Mr. Vance, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the claims were <br />approved and the reports as submitted were filed. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and <br />carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:52 a.m. <br />Jo E.
