NEW INSTALLATION, STOP SIGN - On Ridgewood @ Rosemary <br />("T" Intersection). <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR'S BOND <br />Mr. Melvin Humphrey, Engineering Department, recommended that the <br />Contractor's Bond for Mid States Construction, Inc., be approved <br />retroactive to May 6, 1987. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the above <br />Contractor's Bond was approved. <br />APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMIT <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the following one (1) handicapped parking permit <br />application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's <br />office for issuance of a permit: <br />1. Mary L. Shirk, 3903 Ardmore, S.B. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating.a <br />total of one hundred six (106) properties cleaned from May 4, <br />1987 through May 8, 1987 was submitted. Upon a motion made by <br />Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the report as <br />submitted was filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Deputy City Controller Carol M. Sanders submitted Claim Docket <br />No. 8154 through Claim Docket No. 8412 and recommended approval. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and <br />carried, the claims were approved and the report filed. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />STATUS REPORT REGARDING COMPLETION OF WALKWAY BETWEEN MARRIOTT <br />HOTEL AND CENTURY CENTER <br />In response to questions from the news media, Mr. Leszczynski <br />advised that the walkway connecting the Marriott Hotel and <br />Century Center is scheduled to be completed on approximately June <br />1, 1987 with a grandopening scheduled for approximately June 16, <br />1987. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, <br />the meeting adjourned at 9:55 a.m. <br />ATT ST: <br />Sandra �.-.I�LJNUALU-,, <br />armerlee, Clerk <br />E.
