MINNI <br />REGULAR MEETING APRIL 21, 1987 <br />OPENING AND AWARD OF QUOTATION - MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM STAGE <br />LOADING BRIDGE <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the <br />receiving and opening of sealed quotes for the labor, materials, <br />tools and equipment to furnish and install a stage loading bridge <br />for Morris Civic Auditorium, 211 North Michigan Street, South <br />Bend, Indiana. Mr. James E. Childs of James E. Childs & <br />Associates, Inc., Architects & Planners, advised that the cost <br />estimate for the installation of the stage loading bridge is <br />$16,500.00. <br />The following quotes were received: <br />ZIOLKOWSKI CONSTRUCTION, INC. <br />1005 South Lafayette Boulevard <br />P.O. Eckermann, Secretary is as follows: <br />Base Quote: $14,045.00 <br />Alternate #1: Add $ 65.00 <br />Alternate #2: Add $ 715.00 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and <br />carried, the above referred to quotations were referred to Mr. <br />James Childs for review and recommendation. <br />After review of the quotations received, Mr. Childs recommended <br />that the Board accept and approve the low quotation submitted by <br />St. Joseph Valley Structural Steel Company at a base quotation of <br />$14,045.00 plus Alternates #1 and #2.
